One Lucky Pup is our signature rescue, rehabilitation and adoption program. We focus predominantly on dogs facing extraordinary challenges such as extensive and/or emergency veterinary care/surgery, breed discrimination and those languishing in municipal shelters. We put an intensive amount of attention into each dog, evaluating their needs extensively in order to determine their best plan of care, recovery and ultimately, their home. This individualized plan of care enhances the adoption process and makes less room for negative variables to occur post-adoption. To apply to adopt one of our dogs click HERE to submit an online form. Our adoption fee is based on a sliding scale of affordability between $300.00 and $500.00 and helps us cover the costs of surgeries and/or speciality care, as well as vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips and foster care costs.

Get Involved
Not everyone has the time, commitment and strength to be a foster parent to a dog waiting to find a forever home, but if you are able, you will literally help save a life. One of our greatest needs is foster homes in the NY/CT/NJ area. We would like to rescue more One Lucky Pups, but we can’t do it without your help! To learn more about how you can get involved, please contact us.
