STAR offers dog-naming opportunities for donors wishing to participate. The number of dogs we must name each year is staggering, and it can often be difficult to come up with unique names. Need a gift for someone who has everything? Honor them by naming a rescue dog after them. STAR will notify the honoree of the donation and will even include a picture of the lucky canine!

Donors can honor family members, teachers, community members, etc., via our Adopt-a-Kennel program. STAR is flexible in working with donors to accommodate their individual requests. The Adopt-a-Kennel program provides donors/honorees with the following benefits:
- Name recognition on kennel (permanently for endowment; or for one calendar year for yearly contribution)
- Acknowledgement on STAR website
- Acknowledgement in all Adopt-a-Kennel promotional materials
The following contribution levels are available:
- Endowment - $1000 to name and maintain a kennel for life
- Yearly contribution - $250
