My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stop scrolling!!! You have to meet Flick. He is a 1 year old, and some change, Corgi mix (we think... but really have no clue). Flick was rescued from a hoarding situation living outside down South and has acclimated great to a home environment. Flick loves other dogs as much as he loves playing with toys and a good game of tug of war with dogs or people. He's learned to play fetch and will bring the toy back and drop it on command. He sits for treats, is house and crate trained. He needs just a little time to warm up and loves to snuggle up on the couch in the crook of your leg for some petting, this is his special time. Besides that he's pretty independent. He needs a secure fenced yard. He does not do well on a leash and is a flight risk when he is outside going places, mostly because out of fear of the noises and commotion. We travels very well in a crate so we strongly urge he be transported in one.

Flick is cute and has a quirky personality. This guy only has one good eye but it does not hinder him or require any medical intervention.

We are looking for a home with at least one other playful dog for Flick. A home without cats would be preferred as he tends to like to chase. Flick is really a wonderful dog.

We would love to find a home that he can call his own and someone who will have the patience to let him acclimate while enjoying playing with any fur siblings you have.

We are open to a foster to adopt family for him to make sure that he is a good fit for your family. If you are interested in meeting this funny and quirky pup and seeing if he is a good fit for you, complete an application on our website at www barsiibeds.org.
