Ike and others GoFundMe

Hi everyone im fundraising for IKE. I came across IKE sitting on the side of the road on 7/17/20. He was on the edge of the road and not moving. I pulled over and his back legs were covered in ants yet he showed no pain. A man walking stopped to help and watched him as i ran across the street to get water for him ti drink and get the ants off. By the time i got back cops were there snd had called AC which showed up shortly afterwards. I wanted to tske him ti my vet but they took him si i made a call to my contact at AC and tney allowed me to get him after the 7 day hold was lifted. They said he was heartworm negative and had a broken leg in teo places. They gave the options of amputation or a plate. We raised a little over $1,000 in one day. However a few days later they called and said his backside had paralysis and hed need to see a specialist. I want this boy to live if at all possible without suffering. Im going to visit him sat with a friend whos been through this before and she feels he has a chance. The clinic said they'd normally euthanize but will allow us a chance to save him if its at all possible. I want to make sure that he can live without pain and use the walking wheelchair that a friend has donated a brand new one to him if needed. They said hed need to see a specialist asap and that it would be very expensive. The money raised would go towards his treatment and any left to his to the rescue whi tskes him for his aftercare and therapy. Thanks for your support. #WELIKEIKE
