Joy’s Colic Surgery

Donation protected
I have 3 miniature ponies that live at my house, in addition to my 2 horses that I board somewhere. I rescued 2 of the minis from the kill pen and one of them was pregnant. She had the baby at my house, and I have been raising her ever since. She is the tiniest, cutest, most spunky one year old pony you’ll ever meet and after not being able to decide on a name, one month after she was born I decided to name her Joy because I knew she would bring joy to people all over the world. The Dodo did a story on her and she is already living up to her name. She is my baby. She boasts 12k followers on Instagram and the cutest face and sweetest personality ever. Unfortunately, On Friday morning when I went to take care of the ponies it became apparent that Joy was uncomfortable. She was clearly in pain, so the vet came out. And then she wasn’t getting better so he came out again Friday night, and then she still wasn’t getting better so we called him on Saturday morning, and then Saturday night it was the same and we were advised to take her to Helen Woodward Animal Center for possible surgery. In the middle of the night the vet was called twice by the 24/7 watch and told that she was rolling violently and clearly in extreme pain. This morning, we decided to put her into surgery because it is too hard to bear putting my baby girl to sleep. With birth complications when she was young, she truly is a miracle baby and all I hope is that she can pull through again. Unfortunately, the surgery is very expensive and I am not able to pay for all of it. Please please donate and help cover her medical bills.
